Ron and Makiko got married right after the first day they met in Seattle. But Ron is from Vancouver in Canada. Makiko is from Japan. They spoke language differently. They signed differently. It took them 12 years to learn how to communicate with each other! It wasn’t easy, but they’ve been together for 46 years!
