The three Deaf founders started Lost River Vacations in West Virginia. They purchased 23 acres and built a tiny house. The whole project was the result of the Deaf community’s support. The Deaf ecosystem with over a dozen Deaf businesses were involved and the house was built by Deaf people.
Their goal is to create a place where everyone can gather and enjoy the outdoors. They hope to expose many people to visual language and communication.
