Here’s a quick recap of the top five Sign1News stories making headlines this week:

Millions of Americans tuned in to watch the historic impeachment hearings on Capitol Hill.

It included dramatic testimony, heated arguments among lawmakers and President Trump live tweeting negative comments while one witness was testifying.

Thirteen-year-old Broadway actress Laurel Griggs died after suffering an asthma attack.

More than 1,000 people attended her funeral and hundreds more paid their respects online.

Roughly 70 percent of the country, about 240 million people, experienced below freezing temperatures as a result of an arctic blast.

Winter warnings and advisories stretched from Colorado to Maine, to even northern Florida.

The National Weather Service says more than 300 cold temperature records were either broken or tied.

Two teenagers died after a classmate opened fire at Saugus high school in Santa Clarita, California before turning the gun on himself.

The gunman died from his injuries a few days later.

And finally the world’s largest Starbucks opened in Chicago.

The four-story building includes on-site roasters for specialty coffees, a bar and fancier foods than normal Starbucks locations.
