10 years ago a professor from UC Berkeley and one from San Jose State University came up with the idea of designing a teeter totter wall between the US-Mexico border fence.
Well…take a look.
The idea has become a reality.
The seesaws are in Sunland Park, New Mexico, which is separated by a steel fence from Cuidad Juarez, Mexico.
Within minutes of the installation, kids on both sides started playing together.
Some adults jumped into.
The professors say the seesaw uses humor and inventiveness to show the pointlessness of building barriers.
They said the event was filled with joy, excitement and togetherness as people on both sides came together to play in unity.
