Two-year-old Cash Landers drowned in a pool accident.

And little Lola Bond was born with a faulty heart.

Last September Cash’s mother Brooke Eaton made the decision to donate her son’s heart to save little Lola’s life.

Last night, for the first time since the heart transplant, the families met at University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital.

And Eaton was given the chance to hear her son’s heart beating again in Lola’s chest.

The reunion brought tears to everyone’s eyes including the hospital staff.

Eaton says she fell in love with Lola from the moment she saw her and they will now have a special connection for the rest of their lives.
