Jimmy Carter hospitalized after fall at home (ASL – 10.22.19)

On Monday night, 95-year-old former President Jimmy Carter was admitted to the hospital after falling in his home in Plains, Georgia.

Carter was admitted to Phoebe Sumter Medical Center for observation and treatment of a minor pelvic fracture.

Director of Communications for the Carter Center says, “He is in good spirits and is looking forward to recovering at home.”

This is second time this month Carter has fallen in his home.
