It is the season of generosity.
And clearly commercial real estate chairman Edward St. John in Maryland takes this to heart.
Last Saturday, employees at his company’s holiday party were given $10 million dollars in bonuses.
With about 200 employees, that works out to an average of 50-thousand bucks per person.
The amount of money each employee received was based on the number of years they have been working at the company.
The smallest amount was $100 dollars, and that was an employee who was just hired and hadn’t even started yet.
The largest bonus was $270,000 dollars.
The $10 million dollar bonus is separate from the employees annual bonus.
