There’s a very good chance at some point today you are going to realize dinner slipped your mind in the midst of Christmas preps or you forgot to buy someone close to you a gift.

No worries.

There are a few businesses open on Christmas Day.

If you get hungry, hopefully there is a Waffle House nearby.

The popular 24-hour restaurant rarely closes its doors.

Need to pick up a last-minute gift?

Many Walgreens and CVS stores are open but most pharmacies are closed.

If you can’t go one day without an iced caramel macchiato, you’re in luck.

Several Starbucks stores are open as well.

Hours vary by location and some may close early, so be sure to call ahead before hopping in the car.

And while you’re there, remember to share some holiday cheer and a “thank you” with the employees who are spending Christmas Day away from their families.
