We all know Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos is rich.
Well guess what?
He’s getting richer!
According to calculations by a company called Comparisun, by 2026 Bezos is set to become the world’s first trillionaire.
Right now he’s worth about $143 billion.
That’s up more than $28 billion from last year.
Think of it this way: sometime in the near future Jeff Bezos will have more money than the Netherlands.
And the money will keep pouring in for Bezos as millions of homebound customers are now heavily relying on online shopping, grocery delivery and streaming.
Of course the Twitterverse erupted when the news came out.
There were several tweets about how many people are financially struggling right now because of the pandemic while Bezos rakes in billions.
The news also follows public protests by Amazon employees over their safety as they continue to work through the coronavirus pandemic.
