Two tenth grade girls from India, Radhika Lakhani and Vaidehi Vekariya, made an amazing discovery, an asteroid heading towards Earth.
The girls were participating in a Space India and NASA project that allowed students to analyze images taken by telescopes at the University of Hawaii.
The girls discovered the asteroid in June and NASA confirmed their discovery on June 23.
The girls named the asteroid HLV2514.
No need to worry about the asteroid though.
It won’t come anywhere close to earth for a million years.
