The Star Sydney Casino in Australia has been fined AU$90,000. That US$64,500.

Earlier today (Saturday) the state regulator of liquor and gaming release this video showing three minors gambling there between March and June of last year.

One of them is a 12-year-old girl.

The girl is seen on the top left corner of the screen standing next to her parents who had sneaked her in.

The girl then started gambling for 17 minutes, placing almost 2 dozen bets on several poker machines.

The regulator says the casino staff should have noticed an underage playing at the machines.

This incident alone resulted in a AU$60,000 fine. That’s equivalent to US$43,000.

The other two, involving 16 and 17-year-olds, cost the casino another AU$30,000. That’s US$21,500.

The 16 and 17-year-olds were also served alcohol.

The incidents were all reported by the casino itself.
