It is Thursday, November 5. It is supposed to be Day 6 of the murder trial: State of California vs Mr. Mavrick Fisher. He is accused of murdering Mr. Grant Whitaker. On Tuesday, the court informed jurors that on Wednesday (which is yesterday) they would be doing jury selection for another case and warned that today’s trial might be delayed into the afternoon. They said they would be reaching out if the schedule changes.
We were informed today that there is no trial today and tomorrow as well. The trial will resume on Monday, November 9th. The possible reason why there is no trial today is the jury selection for another case. We asked why no trial tomorrow and we were told that witnesses are unavailable. So they will be starting again on Monday, not today nor tomorrow (Friday).
