Turtle City does indeed live up to its name, being a land full of turtles! The turtles in this “city” are primarly of the Hawksbill and Green Turtles breed, but includes a variety of beautiful, colorful reef fish. The turtles really like this spot because they feed off the soft coral in the shallow areas.
I’d have to say that Turtle City was one of the most beautiful sites I’ve been to. There was an array of small fishes, but they spoke volumes with how colorful they were! I’ve witnessed an abnormally huge clam, a stealthy but beautiful eel, lionfish, and so many more. In the duration I was there, I saw five huge captivating green turtles there! A diver stated that you can see up to twenty (20) turtles during prime time depending on season, time, etc. However, seeing the five was enough for me! After seeing the first one, I just knew that I have to share what I captured with you guys!
